The ensemble «Tulip» gave a concert in Chernoyarsky District

Tulip – is a beautiful flower in May, pleasing the eye. So is the Kalmyk Song and Dance Ensemble «Tulip.»
The State Song and Dance Ensemble «Tulip» was founded in 1937. In the first years of its existence, the ensemble started performing song and dance shows actively, not only inside the country but also abroad. The real «test» on the creative maturity was for this dance ensemble to participate in March 1939 in the Days of the Kalmyk literature and art in Moscow. Since 1970, the dance band travels abroad for giving concerts. The artists got the warmest and the most grateful acceptance when they were travelling to Laos, China, India, Poland, Italy, USA, France, Taiwan, Switzerland and so on. Currently, the band is in the prime of life, full of skill and creative plans. The «Tulip» has the best performing skills in singing and dances. Undoubtedly, it will have many new and vivid meetings with spectators.
The concert of «Tulip» ensemble of Chernoyarsky District was held on October 15, 2016. The dancers and singers were in bright national costumes. The professional choreography and great voices made spectators happy. It quickly became clear, that the artists – were true masters of their craft. The ensemble consists of dancing and singing folk artists of the Republic of Kalmykia. During the concert not only the Kalmyk folk songs were performed, but also the Russian ones. In the hall there were also representatives of other nationalities. Everything went as well as it could, the audience expressed their gratitude to the deputies of the Communist Party, who gave everyone the opportunity to attend this concert.
Each artist performed at «one hundred percent». I believe that such groups have to give concerts not only in big cities but also in small towns.
