Astrakhan Cossack Cadet Corps again received guests from all regions of Russia.
The instructor’s group of the Don Military Federation of Cossack Martial Arts “Pernach”, headed by the Head of the Military Directorate of the Military Cossack Society “All-Great Don Army”, the Vice-President of the Federation “Pernach”, Vladimir A. Eroshev, Cossacks of VKO and VVD, representatives of Astrakhan branch of the Cossack Box Federation “Uchkur”, students of general education and pre-school educational institutions, in which the Cossack educational component is taught, took part in the workshop.
Within the framework of the seminar, an agreement was signed on joint activities between the “Cossack cadet corps named after Ataman I.A. Biryukov» and «Don Army Federation of Cossack Martial Arts «Pernach», which will allow the «Resource Center for General Education Organizations engaged in the educational process using the cultural and historical traditions of the Cossacks in the Astrakhan Region», created on the basis of the corps, to bring training instructors to a new professional level in the field of traditional Cossack martial arts.
During the workshop, master classes were held on the art of knife fighting, on traditional Cossack song singing and on the knowledge in use of historical Cossack weapons, as well as the AK-74 machine gun. Also there was an exhibition of weapons of the Special Forces «Scorpion».
The event ended with a concert of the Cossack team from the Krasnoyarsk village.
