JUNE 22, RIGHT AT 4 O`CLOCK

On June 22 at 4 o’clock in the morning, the residents of Saratov took part in a rally-concert dedicated to the memory of the beginning of the Great Patriotic War.
Despite the late hour, I arrived at Sokolova Hill in Victory Park, in the city of Saratov, in order to shoot a small report about the Memorial Day of the beginning of the war.
The employees of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, and of Rosgvardia, border troops of the Russian Federal Security Service, the Yunarmiya, the river and sea fleet, the Ministry for Emergency Situations and many others took part in this rally-concert. In addition, a participant of the Great Patriotic War attended it.
It all began with the march of the column of staff of departments. After the procession, the participants of the event looked at staging the battle of the Soviet troops with the Nazi invaders, listened to the veteran and minister, as well as several songs of the WWII times, and, of course, honored the memory of those who did not return from the war with a minute of silence.
After the event, all participants were given the opportunity to lay flowers at the Eternal Fire, and place candles «We remember. 1941-1945. «
