PROJECT “ASSOCIATED SCHOOLS OF THE UNION OF RUSSIAN MACHINE BUILDERS” IS DEVELOPING IN UFA

The project “Associated Schools of the Union of Russian Machine Builders” is developing in Ufa. On April 12, 2019, MBEI Lyceum No. 123 became a member of the association.
“In order to successfully implement a large-scale project, the goal of which is to attract young people to physics, mathematics and engineering and technical specializations, the contribution of each schoolchild and teacher of a lyceum is very important. Our enterprises need working specialties and specialists who will work on high-end equipment. And we are ready to communicate with children from 7-8 grades in order to prepare them for admission to technical schools, to further employ them at our enterprises”, said Yevgeny Semivelchenko, Chairman of the Bashkortostan regional branch of the Union of Russian Machine Builders, addressing his words toward the participants of the event.
There are about 30 similar associated schools in Bashkortostan. All of them cooperate with the United Rocket and Space Corporation and the Center for Technical Education Support for Schoolchildren “Gagarin Center”. They are working on the popularization of science and the preparation of students for admission to technical universities.
On the same day, the 3rd city scientific-practical conference «Gagarin Readings» began its work at the Lyceum. The conference participants talked with the hero of the Russian Federation, cosmonaut Sergei N. Revin. Many questions were devoted to the conquest of space.
At the end of the conversation Sergey N. wished the children to become literate and in-demand specialists.
“Your knowledge, your future experience and efforts are very important for the prosperity of the country. Let your road to knowledge be interesting and joyful”, he added.
