Preparation for the birthday of Alexander Vasilyev, leader of the group «Spleen».
Cassette player, big headphones and little me. It’s the year 2005 and it is my first Spleen. And from that moment I do not part with the voice of Uncle Sasha. For each my mood shade there is always a needed verse among his songs. And every year on July 15, I spend my day listening to all the albums of Spleen.
Because July 15 is the birthday of Alexander Vasilyev. I have not met anyone who does not know that name. The band «Spleen» touches the hearts of people for more than 20 years. Each song contains its own story, guides you to the right path, and helps the soul to be reborn and fresh ideas come to the surface.
In those moments when the voice of Vasilyev is heard through the speakers, wondrous flowers bloom fern and you can feel the smell of burning. I want to go alone across the ocean and survive the winter. The wind begins to blow from the suburbs, and we do not care, because we die of boredom when somebody takes care of us. Lovers of «Spleen» know between whom there is snow of Kilimanjaro, and put a coffee pot to boil listening to Elvis Presley. They do not dream, just as if they were forbidden to dream, and will surely ask you to be their shadow. They know, how to make new people, and they do not think about death.
Once and twice, one more time. Sing me again and be firm in what you sing.
