Familiar stranger

On December 9, 2016 the conference «First Moscow Medical State University named after I. M. Sechenov of Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation «-» Chemistry of nutrients and its role in shaping the modern doctor» took place at the Lyceum 429.
Pupils and students of gymnasiums, boarding houses and pupils of Moscow schools prepared stands with presentations on various topics such as «Tea — a familiar stranger,» «Study the effect of high temperature on the decomposition of vitamin C», «Properties of iron compounds», «Amber as a natural polymer»,” Calcium content in the children’s cottage cheese «, as well as other interesting projects. Relevance of the project was evident. All projects can easily help us in everyday life.
The conference began with a brilliant representation of exemplary dance group «Necklace» and continued showing the best works on stage. Chairmen of the Jury were: Vladimir A. Popkov, Academician of RAO Ph.D., Ph.D., Head. Department of General Chemistry; Olga Nesterova, Ph.D., professor of general chemistry; Alexander Evgrafov, deputy dean of the SDF, PhD, assistant professor of analytical, physical and colloid chemistry.
Boys and girls of the 11th grade were on the stage. Topics of the best works were completely different and did not look similar. There were also some very serious topics, such as «Phytochemical and botanical study of long-term raw amaranth.» The audience was very attentive and asked intelligent questions, as well as received the full and clear answers.
