Day of media education in Kirov Lyceum of Natural Sciences

On December, 16 the «Day of media education» within the education information week at Vyatka land, was held at the Kirov Lyceum of Natural Sciences. Some meetings with interesting people — professionals in the field of media were organized for young journalists of Kirov region.
Master classes in TV journalism were conducted by Yuri L. Shlemenzon — General Director of TV Company «Grand TV», a member of the Public Chamber of the Kirov region, and Tatiana Lisik — editor of the News Service on TV channel «REN TV» Kirov.
They taught us how to interview properly. Artyom Kozlov and Christina Pestova for the first time in their lives were TV reporters and learned to ask questions.
We have learned that «the path to big journalism begins with questions — to ourselves, to others, to the whole world, and therefore Tatiana helped me and Artyom ask questions and formulate our own questions.
Another workshop, «How to write a press release so as to attract the attention of the participants and the media», was conducted by Yulia V. Igoshina, PhD, assistant professor of journalism and integrated communications of Vyatka State University, deputy director of the NGO «Promotion of professional communications» and advisor VTPP in mass media and public relations.
From just one hour dialogue with Julia Viktorovna, we learned so many interesting things about writing the news that we have never heard during the whole period of creation of the school newspaper.
The meeting ended at the Lyceum by getting acquainted with the works of the best media studios, friendly conversation and photographing teams next to a festive Christmas tree in KLNS (Kirov Lyceum of Natural Sciences).
