Voluntary Saturday work in Semenov Park

On October 31, voluntary Saturday work was held in the Semenov Park. The young men from the Youth Chamber decided to help nature and clean the areas of the park. As part of the voluntary workday lilac bushes were planted, territory of the park was ennobled, as well as removing the dead foliage.
Our actions on the initiative of Vladimir Mohta (Chairman of the Youth Chamber of the Moscow City Duma) were filmed by TV channel Russia Today, which made a report on this topic. Dmitry Mosin (chairman of the Youth Chamber of the district Falcon mountain) gave an interview and spoke about the history of voluntary Saturday work. Despite the chilly weather, Saturday work was a success, for several hours, we worked in a nice friendly atmosphere. As a result, we were able to help nature and spend good time.
In the autumn, voluntary Saturday works take place in many districts of the city, the Falcon mountain district, on the east of the capital — is no exception.
