My last «Calls» …

I visited a private press screening of the horror film «Calls» and I’m ready to share with you my impressions of the film.
It’s weak. It is so weak that they could just not to shoot the film. They mixed all kinds of «horror stories» in one and presented it as a major horror film of 2017 – it is absurd. The film «Calls» looked like a Facebook feed, where various activities of the characters are scrambled together, sometimes without even being connected to each other.
I do not quite understand the motivation of the protagonist. She loved her boyfriend so much that she took over «the greatest evil in the world.» And completed it calmly! I found her boyfriend absolutely surprising too, because he calmly accepts her absurd actions. And where are the words «Are you a fool? Why did you do that? I had to die, but not you. “No, it was not there. They just spent their usual Friday evening.
Naturally, all the Screamer-points were expected. Horrifying music, dark rooms, flashlight — all this is as old as the world. But one moment of the film made me startled – a sudden barking of the dog.
The film «Calls» — a mixture of the film «Don`t breathe» with the Internet rollers «25th frame». It has the story, but it does not have any characters, I mean none of them really opened to the viewer. No, I am mistaken, I forgot about the girl from the well…
