The International Festival of Youth Media «Volga Meetings» will be held in Chuvashia

The traditional International Festival of Youth Media and Film Studios «Volga Meetings» will be held from April 28 to May 2, 2017 and will bring together young journalists from all over Russia, as well as CIS countries in Cheboksary.
The festival is supported by the League of Young Journalists of the Russian Federation and the Creative Agency «Ynpress» for the 28th time. Its goal is to promote the development of youth media, film studios and photo clubs, to involve children and young people in social activities.
This year 450 senior pupils and students who chose journalism, cinema and photography as their future profession will gather at the «Volga Meetings». Journalists of the central mass media and teachers of journalistic faculties of the leading universities of the country will share their experience with the participants of the festival. The festival agenda includes joint creative work, presentations of editions, round tables, discussion platforms and many other things.
The honourable guests of the event will be the actress Elizaveta Arzamasova, known to everyone on the TV series «Daddy’s Daughters», as well as Nataya Semenikhina — the presenter of the program «Control Purchase» on the «First Channel».
As a result of the festival, the video works of youth television and film studios will be selected for participation in the All-Russia Open Forum of Children and Youth Screen Creativity «Boomerang», which will be held at International Children Centre «Orlyonok».
