OPENING OF ICE PALACE OF SPORTS «CRYSTAL»

On December 7 the solemn opening of the Ice Palace of Sports «Crystal» took place in Elektrostal city.
Our team of YNPRESS was given the opportunity not only to attend, but also to cover such an important event in the sports world.
On this day, the palace was full of people, eager to see the grandiose show, because the opening of the Ice Palace of Sports «Crystal», the reconstruction of which was lasting for almost 3 years – is the most long-awaited event!
Before the beginning of the event, there was an autograph session with legends of ice hockey: Alexander Yakushev № 15, Andrei Kovalenko № 51, Valery Kamensky № 13 — these are great champions, who many people know about.
With the completion of the reconstruction of the sports palace and its opening, the citizens of Electrostal city were congratulated by Vladimir Y. Pekarev, the head of the city Electrostal. Andrey Y. Vorobiev, Governor of the Moscow Region, sent a video message with congratulations to the citizens!
But the most exciting part of the evening was a gala match between The Legends of Hockey and the Night Hockey League. It was nice to see not only the athletes who took part in the opening of the «Crystal», but also a growing generation of hockey players who actively supported their idols from the stands.
We will not make you waiting longer! A team of sports legends, consisting of masters of sports, winners of world championships and the Olympic Games, defeated the NHLMO team with a score of 7 to 3!
