Cold battles without blood

Winter is a time for fun and games. On January 21, based on the Palace of Pioneers on Vorobyovy Gory, competitions «Art Battle of Snowmen» took place. Annually this event gathers hundreds of authors of snow sculptures among children and their parents and this year was no exception.
The theme of this year’s art battle was not chosen accidentally. As everyone already knows, the World Cup will be held in Russia this year and that is why the Palace of Pioneers prepared the appropriate nominations, such as: «Snowman-fan», «Snowman-Zabivaka», and «Snowman-champion».
Most of all we were surprised by the composition «Snowman-Paraolympic», built by Ilya and his team. Many people will ask who Ilya is. Well, he really is a hero. Ilya is a disabled wheelchair user, and despite this, he still managed to come and take part in the competition. As a result, he won the first place and got the deserved cup.
The highlight of the art battle was the sheep, Tolik. It was he who became the visiting celebrity of one restaurant in the capital. Tolik has his page in the social network Instagram and there are about seven thousand subscribers to it. The children liked this meeting very much. Tolik peacefully consumed carrots and created a unique holiday atmosphere for children and their parents.
