Recently, a solo exhibition of theatrical artist Lyudmila Ibragimova «Theatrical Novel» was opened at the «Poetry Theater» in the city of Makhachkala. At the event sketches for Nabi Dagirov’s ballet «Partu-Patima» were presented. The exhibition was organized by the Museum of the History of Theaters in the city of Dagestan.
In 1994, the premiere of the ballet of the Dagestani composer Nabi Dagirov took place in the Kumyk theater. The main character`s role was performed by Tatyana Hasanova, whom I met during the exhibition. It turns out that a Moscow director came to the ballet troupe, and helped with the ballet show.
The main artist and costume designer was Lyudmila Ibragimova. She graduated from the theatrical and decoration department of the Tbilisi Academy of Arts, the class of Professor Lapiashvili. For many years she collaborated with the Dagestani theaters, created sketches of costumes and sets for many productions.
The chairman of the Union of Artists of Dagestan Kurbanali Magomedov gave Ludmila Ibrahimova a diploma and congratulated her on her personal exhibition. «Lyudmila Ibrahimova has made a great contribution to the fine arts of Dagestan and Russia. We are proud of it and are glad for her success,» he said.
