LABORATORY OF INNOVATIONS
BY IRINA ZAIKINA | 10 DECEMBER 2018
In our house there is a place of extraordinary experiments, production of new technologies and endless creativity! Let`s look at my family lab.
Its main component is my dad. He is the engine of the process. The manufacture of decorative and artistic products — its main focus here. But he did not study for a woodworking master, or for a locksmith, or for any other profession related to woodworking.
But why did he choose wood carpenting in the age of such active development of information technologies and robotics? It turns out that a tree envelops a person with heat, and transfers its energy and strength to a person.
Do not worry, friends environmentalists! From the point of view of your science, my father does not harm anyone/anything. Already from the “outdated”, rotten wood, dad can make children’s toys, kitchen utensils, and countertops.
Also in his laboratory, he invented the technology of reproduction of wood, using soy peel.
Recycling is one of the best ways to control pollution in production! And who would not want to give the tree a second life? It is only necessary to mix the husk with the desired solution and get a strong wood.
That is, you do not need to dispose waste, polluting the environment even more. We already have future global warming and melting glaciers.
It is necessary to introduce this technology into production. For example, in China, such waste disposal is already actively developing, but in Russia, it comes into use very slowly.
The tree is like a person. Each species have their own character, and an individual approach is needed here.
For example, the oak is quite durable, birch is flexible, the apple tree is plastic, and graceful, and the poplar is fibrous. The quality of the product will depend on the choice of wood.
In the Kaliningrad region there are all prerequisites for the development of woodworking. In our city there are a lot of trees, and the climate is suitable. It is not cold, not hot, not dry and not damp. But compared to Europe, we are at the end of the race. There, woodworking has moved far ahead and is developing more extensively than ours.
Who knows what will happen in the future. The stone and iron ages had passed already. It is possible that, after the lapse of a century of gadgets people will pay attention to a warm tree trunk.
