VOLUNTEERS — TO CHILDREN: A CHARITY DAY TOOK PLACE IN RYAZAN

In early June, a charity festival for children and families with children, “Volunteers for children”, was held in the central park of culture and recreation in Ryazan.
The event was organized as part of the regional social campaign called «Volunteers for children.» The organizers of the action were the Resource Center for Volunteer Support in the Ryazan Region and the Patriotcentre with the support of the Ministry of Education and Youth Policy of the Ryazan Region.
For the guests of the event, 15 interactive sites from leading volunteer organizations of the Ryazan region worked that day. At each of the interactive sites, children could receive a game token, and then exchange it for prizes as part of the children’s fair.
Also at the festival, the Resource Center for Volunteering Support, together with the ProDetstvo Charity Fund, organized a charity fair “Do Good — Do As I Do”. All the funds raised will go to the purchase of an expensive hearing aid for the fifteen-year-old boy Sergei to the ProDetstvo charity foundation. Sergei has cerebral palsy and hearing loss of the fourth degree, so he walks with hearing aids. But they do not quite fit him.
Those who were not indifferent to Sergei in Ryazan could buy handmade things at the fair: wood products, dream catchers, soap, knitted toys, designer dolls, and much more. Then the citizens of Ryazan could participate in a charity race.
