INCLUSIVE FESTIVAL “TOGETHER” TOOK PLACE IN LIPETSK

Last Sunday, August 18, Lipetsk Regional Charitable Public Organization “Point of Support”, together with such public organizations as “Sunny World”, “Grow the World. Autism in Lipetsk ”, and “ Help for patients with cystic fibrosis ” held an inclusive festival“ Together ” near Victory Park.
The purpose of the event is to unite and rally people, and create an atmosphere that “special” children, their parents, specially invited guests, people with disabilities and ordinary passers-by who walked in the park spent time together.
All children were involved in the program, everyone found something that he or she liked. During the festival there were several interactive displays where the children, united by a common cause, were no longer divided in the eyes of society into “special” and “ordinary” ones. The children learned how to make flowers out of paper, paint with acrylics, play football, weave dozens of bright bracelets and beads, took a lot of juicy photos and boasted colorful face painting to their parents.
The holiday ended with a vivid performance of the Monro cover band and a large-scale lottery, which was attended by all registered spectators and guests of the festival, which amounted to about 300 people. The lucky ones received pleasant and useful prizes from sponsors: headphones, a slow cooker, a gyro scooter and much more.
Next year, “Point of Support” plans to hold a second inclusive festival, which will also focus on the socialization of special children and their adoption by society.
