Do you want to get a grant for training at the MFLA? Do you want to chat with famous journalists and attend their master classes? This opportunity was presented to the participants of the ART MEDIA festival.
For the first time in Russia, a festival of young journalists was held. It took place at the Moscow Financial and Legal University (MFLA). Children from 11 regions of Russia arrived in the capital to attend the festival. This is not surprising because for these students, it was simply impossible to miss such a significant event. What is so important about the ART MEDIA festival? The answer is simple: this is a huge opportunity for the young people to experience a life as a journalist.
The festival program featured a many workshops conducted by popular television and radio hosts, editors, cameramen and teachers. All of them are professionals in what they do. The attendees heard the speakers share everything that they know and could do themselves. Some speakers even tried doing new things with the attendees. The speakers had many different themes: from the rules of shooting and editing, to the options for maintaining a profile on Instagram.
A huge plus of the festival was that the students became acquainted not only with their peers, but also with people who have long been working in this field. This helped them improve their communication skills, and most importantly — get invaluable advice from professionals.
In addition to the educational process, children went on excursions to the Ostankino TV tower and to the observation deck of one of the Moscow towers – the Moscow City tower. This was done to not overload the children and also give them a little respite. The students also experienced many positive emotions.
One reason for the festival was for the students to put the knowledge gained into practice. This was why the festival was organized.
These future journalists received key knowledge and invaluable experience. This is an important step in their mastery of such a difficult profession.
Festivals like this should be held as often as possible so that the children can once again plunge into the atmosphere that contributes to their development and growth as professionals.
