On December 22, the third meeting of the “Club of Young Journalists” was held at the Department of Journalism at KubSU.
Such classes are held once a month during the school year. Pupils of grades 8-10 are given the opportunity to get acquainted with the specifics of the profession of a journalist. In addition to practical knowledge, teachers of the department also provide theoretical knowledge. Often, real journalists are invited to classes, who talk about their activities, answer the questions of the children.
The December lesson was practical. The children were divided into groups and asked to shoot a small New Year’s video. Under the guidance of KubSU, students who work at the Zhurfak-91 television studio, small scenarios were developed and video footage was shot. A week later the mounted videos were posted publicly, and the juniors were able to see the result of their work.
