LITTLE LUMP OF HAPPINESS

The modern generation is less and less thinking about good and merciful deeds. Everyone thinks only of himself and his state of mind. And I am very sorry that our world is full of selfishness and hypocrisy, because it is »good» that educates and makes us better.
Since childhood, I dreamed of a shaggy friend with whom I would play, walk and sleep. My parents did not allow me to get a dog for a long time, because this is a big responsibility that I can’t cope with. But, getting older, I was able to prove the opposite to them.
The search for this miracle did not last long. We found an ad on the Internet, contacted a volunteer and made an appointment. Two days later, I came home to the curator, where my new friend was waiting for me. Entering the room, I saw a small, trembling lump of happiness, which looked at me with sad eyes. I took the puppy in my arms, hugged it tightly, kissed it on the nose and took it home without any doubt.
Zemfira did not let anyone approach her for a long time. She was afraid to be beaten again or to be killed. Therefore, Zemfira hid in the corner, hid behind the refrigerator, ran away from me, ate little and did not sleep well. But gradually she began to get used to the new house and to us. She realized that no one here would harm her, but, on the contrary, she would be protected and given love, affection and warmth.
Now Zemfira feels great. She walks on the street, plays with other dogs and bathes in a warm embrace. I am extremely glad that this lump of happiness now lives in my house, because it brings me great joy, raises my mood and makes my life happy.
The soul of every person rejoices when he does good to another one.
