FIRST STORM

Since ancient times, a thunderstorm was considered one of the most terrible phenomena in nature. It usually starts from late spring or early summer to fall. Most often it takes place in a hot, warm weather. With this terrible phenomenon, usually thunder and lightning sparkle from a pile of dark clouds.
Today was a hot, stuffy day. All the trees stood rooted to the spot, not even a single leaf moved. People sunbathed, bathed in a river, someone worked in the garden. Quite unexpectedly, the sun went behind the thick clouds. Birds began to fly low. Back in Russia, it was believed that if the birds fly low, then there will be a thunderstorm. There is also a saying: «The calm before the storm.»
Animals and birds disappeared and became silent. The clouds were gathering. Every minute it became darker, and it became quite like night. It began to rain, thunder rumbled a lot, lightning flashed one after another.
The thunderstorm was in full swing, when suddenly the strongest thunder rang out, the whole sky was lit from bright and powerful lightning. The wind intensified, rain poured. It seemed that now there would be something incredible.
Suddenly, the thunderstorm began to leave. The thunder is heard quieter, the storm stopped, and already the rain drummed on the roofs.
There was silence. The birds began singing their funny songs, it was fresh on the street as after a cold shower. Nature rejoiced that it was all over.
After the thunderstorm the sun was like a ball of fire. This will happen after a severe thunderstorm. It was very beautiful, mysterious and bewitching. Suddenly, a double rainbow appeared in the sky, which was liked by both children and adults. Here is such a miracle of nature.
