WAR IS OVER: NEW ALBUM RELEASE BY THE INTERNATIONAL GROUP OF MUSICIANS
Last summer, we published an article about the Runny Noise project which is the idea of sculpting different sounds in one music composition. Today, the authors—French musicians JB Juszczak and Romain Muller—are ready to present the result of their work. The album «War Is Over» was recorded with several collaborations: Armenian instrumentalist Arto Tuncboyaciyan and Egyptian singer Hend Elrawy are present there.
The 21-track work features compositions comprised of different sounds from street noise to nature melodies:
«The idea is to create music from sounds recorded during several journeys. The opportunities to draw their microphone did not lack for our two accomplices: on the Balkans’ roads, in the Republic of Macedonia, in Greece, in Turkey, and in Bulgaria, in the alleys and countryside of India and Thailand, on the Andean trays of Peru, by the sea of Cayman Islands or through France and Alsace; all the sounds that compose Runny Noise are authentic.»
Despite the pandemic, musicians have already started promoting their album and plan to continue their tour after the restrictions are lifted. The album is dedicated to the power of music and the major value of peace. Take a look at the album teaser to see just a small piece of how it was recorded together with Adeline Dillenseger and Phillip Klawitter.
