Its houses are saturated with the poetry of the great poet Bunin, who has always admired this place and truly loved it. It has a special atmosphere. Quiet, calm, with a soft smell of Antonov apples. Yelets is poetry of the nineteenth century; it is a city with carved windows, fallen leaves and a little kind sadness, as in the works of Ivan Alekseevich Bunin.
