“COMPETITION OF PERFORMANCES IN KOREAN LANGUAGE”

The “Competition of performances in Korean language” took place in the Vladivostok branch of the Korean Cultural Center.
Pupils of middle schools, as well as high school students submitted essays on the themes “Korean culture, which I love so much” and “The story of what happened to me when I studied the Korean language”. The main idea of all the texts was the phrase: «My country is a country that inspires my heart.»
The jury was chaired by Irina Nikolaevna Peck. She explained the basic selection requirements: “The main criteria by which we define places are contact with the audience, fluent presentation of the material, disclosure of the thought of the composition and fluent knowledge of Korean language.”
Between performances, the students and pupils could have a bite of Korean rolls, juice and tangerines.
A lottery was also held: valuable prizes were given, such as wireless headphones, speakers, portable batteries and a tablet computer. The lottery was personally led and presented by the Director of the Vladivostok Branch of the Korean Cultural Center Song Kyo Chun.
Each visitor received a pen and a folder for documents with a famous Korean group logo.
Encouragement prizes for all participants were certificates and portable batteries. And those who proved to be a good speaker and won prizes were awarded diplomas and cash prizes.
