How to save the cultural heritage?

Destroying monuments, people destroy their past and the history of their people. Now many are trying to protect our cultural heritage. Volunteers are working on preserving estates; houses of past centuries and special funds are being created for the restoration of these old places.
Why do we need such funds? It’s simple; many adults want their children and grandchildren to see this ancient beauty, which every year grows more difficult to protect.
Therefore, the topic of saving cultural heritage is relevant all over the world. Specifically for that, Simon Murray, Vice President of the National Trust of England, Wales and Northern Ireland and his wife arrived to Russia to give advice to the experts of the Russian fund on preserving their antiquity.
At a round table meeting, Simon Murray and his Russian counterparts discussed issues related to such funds: from financial issues to the restoration of premises.
Vice-President of the National Foundation had a tour of the old estate «Student’s keys». Mr. Murray was pleasantly surprised by the Russian color and the design of the estate.
Such meetings help to promote the preservation of the Russian culture for the masses, promote the development of reconstruction projects in other places, and provide an opportunity to exchange valuable advice on the work of the fund.
